Ash Rowan

The practice of yoga only requires us to act, but to do so with full intention, creating a state in which we are always present, truly present. This practice takes each person in a different direction, a direction authentic to their inner self. Ash believes this to be our true purpose – Yoga is life. Yoga is universal.
Ash passionately believes in healing and happiness through a connection to nature and the self. Her yoga practice has been shaping itself on and off the mat since she was a teen. As a former gymnast, she was originally drawn to asana practice for its physical challenges, but through injury and self-inquiry, has developed a passion for yoga as therapy – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. On the mat, she encourages a safe, sustainable practice through consistent application of simple core actions and continuous somatic inquiry. The evolution of her yoga and her calling to teach has been a journey. She brings this all together to offer a natural, well-rounded approach to yoga.
Ash has completed her RYT-200 certification in Hatha Yoga, through the Dynamic Yoga Training Method with Matthew and Holly Krepps at Circle Yoga Shala in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Born and raised in the Parkville area of Kansas City, MO, Ash is immensely grateful for the opportunity to give back to her community through teaching, living, and sharing the great gift of yoga.

  • This morning Hatha class prepares you to connect mindfully with your breath, access greater mobility in your body and increase strength and balance. Learn to awaken the body in a gentle and alignment based practice, discover how to go within yourself to connect in a meditative and mindful way.

  • Mindful Morning Hatha
  • Take an hour for yourself. Return to the rest of your day more centered. Let the effects of your practice ripple out into the world. This class focuses on mindfulness and simple core actions for a safe practice and functional movement in everyday life. You will learn breath awareness, and have an introduction to meditation, and the philosophy of Yoga.
