Are you interested in learning basic belly dance techniques? Register now for Level 1 Belly Dance Class taught by Heidi Overton. Heidi founded “Shimmy Belly Dance Co.”, a traveling and on-site belly dancing school in order to empower women to embrace their bodies and be comfortable in their own skin. Heidi has been belly dancing for over 10 years and enjoys the sense of sisterhood that comes along with teaching and meeting new people. Heidi is an educator at heart and a natural teacher. She also teaches Kundalini Yoga. Come meet new friends and learn some belly dancing moves!

Jack and Jill's Bean Stalk with Lynn Soulier Sat, Jun 3, 2017 at 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Children learn about seeds and germination as well as why we choose organic seeds. They will plant and tend their own bean seed, learning about the cycles of growth until they can plant it in their home garden or at Gardens of Delight. Children learn the requirements for a seed to grow, and how to care for it. Also we will plant rows of green beans. This class is a great way to be introduced to organic gardening. Please register in advance.

Healthy Kids Club with Lynn Soulier Next held on Sat, Jun 3, 2017 at 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
This enrollment runs from Sat Jun 3, 2017 - Sat Jan 5, 2019
This program is for kids ages 6-14 and meets the first and third Saturdays of every month. The first Saturday we start at 9:00 a.m. with a lesson planned around gardening and nutrition and food prep, then we spend time in the community organic garden, or hiking, or on a scavenger hunt...after this we convene to the Yoga barn for kids yoga, ending at 12:30.
 
Third Saturday:  Kids get a full hour of yoga class starting at 11:15 and finishing at 12:15.
 
What a great way to get kids interested in eating healthy, learning to grow organic foods, cooking, hiking and much more. Why not give a class a try with your kids?
Parents are welcome to stay, or to drop off.
