This Saturday June 27th at 7:00 p.m. Diane Davis Reed will introduce the mesa in a simple way gathered in her mesa lodge. Call 816-584-0777 for reservations. It will be experiential so she asks that each person bring the following items: A love offering donation and
- a square of textile approximately 12-18 inches square – large enough to hold the following 5 items
- a stone to represent Mother Earth
- a shell
- a feather
- a simple unscented white candle in a glass container
- a powerful medicine piece or a particularly meaningful object to represent her essence
- The Pachakuti Mesa is a syncretic earth-based altar that has its origins in ancient Peruvian and Andean cultures. It Is a portal to the unseen world, a cosmological map, a powerful healing tool, a means of balancing energies and bringing forth the gifts of the practitioner.
Coming from our open hearts, this evening will be a simple teaching and a ceremonial introduction to the Pachakuti Mesa.
Diane Davis Reed has apprenticed for seven years with don Oscar Miro-Quesada, originator of the Pachakuti Mesa tradition and has carried her own mesa for as long. She has studied with North American native teachers as well. Diane has worked in corporate, non-profit and entrepreneurial environments, facilitated development of groups and individuals, and continues to grow into her own gifts, as she companions others on their spiritual journeys. A heart-centered guide, teacher and ceremonialist, she is known for listening deeply to the seen and unseen aspects of those with whom she works.

It is the source of our daily sustenance. It moves like a flowing river to each part of our body, feeding our organs as well as fueling our thoughts and emotions. We are energy in motion, constantly shifting and changing. (read more below)
